New Astro Science Challenge App launches on 15 December 2016
Welcome to the Astro Science Challenge – an interactive, space science adventure for children aged 7-11 to inspire them in STEM subjects. It is designed and delivered by the multi award winning Unlimited Space Agency in collaboration with some of the UK’s most brilliant space science organisations.
UNSA’s Patron is the British and European Space Agency astronaut Tim Peake who lived and worked as a scientist on board the International Space Station from December 2015 to June 2016. Tim is passionate about getting kids into science and think The Astro Science Challenge is a brilliant project.
“The Unlimited Space Agency is great. Their approach to inspiring children about science is rigorous, fun and it works! I’m proud to serve with them on their mission to inspire the next generation of scientists and space explorers.” Tim Peake
Some feedback from educators on the original version of The Astro Science Challenge, which ran during the six weeks before Tim launched to the ISS in December 2015

“We loved it! I really liked the variety of the tasks, the flexibility and open-endedness that allowed for lots of different ideas and ways of completing them. The people running it made a great effort to engage with all the children. Thankyou!
“Outstanding! Many activities and resources that I will incorporate into my plans for years to come. I and the children loved every challenge and we have all learnt so many new things – I learnt to use a 3D printer!!!!”
